Hi, my name is Shelby, and I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of someone very dear to me, Jaclyn Goike, and her three young children.

Jaclyn is an incredibly devoted mother who loves her kids more than anything. She has always worked hard to provide for her family and never wanted to be in a position where she had to ask for help. Unfortunately, due to circumstances completely outside of her control, her family is facing an extremely difficult and unstable time.

Jaclyn’s partner has been unable to work for over a month due to serious health and pain issues and is currently waiting on disability, a process that can take several months. Because of this, Jaclyn has been carrying the entire financial responsibility on her own. She recently started working, but limited hours and a small first paycheck have not been enough to cover basic needs.

Their savings have been exhausted, and the family is currently in and out of hotels, staying with friends or family when possible. Housing is unstable, and providing consistent food and necessities for three young children has become overwhelming and heartbreaking.

Jaclyn is trying with everything she has to keep her family safe and together, but she cannot do this alone. All donations will go directly toward:

• Temporary housing or hotel stays

• Food and basic necessities for the children

• Helping the family stay afloat while awaiting disability and stable income
