My sister Jacky is a registered nurse and single mom who was recently severely injured in an accident early Sunday morning of November 23rd, requiring emergency surgery.

Those who know Jacky know that she is an extremely caring person with her big heart, who is always the first to step up and give everything she can to help others—both in her work and in her everyday life.

Now, she’s facing a difficult moment of her own. With unexpected medical complications, upcoming follow-up tests, and the need for ongoing care, she’s dealing with major medical expenses as well as loss of income while she’s unable to work. She currently does not have health insurance due to recently starting a new job. Her recovery is expected to be extended, and the financial uncertainty is heavy.
