Support Jackson’s T1D Convention Opportunity

In an amazing turn of events, Jackson Zeus has the honor to attend Friends for Life 2025!

Friends for Life is an annual convention where people living with type 1 diabetes meet to find support, community, and connection while attending seminars and events for several days on everything from tips and tricks for glucose control techniques to training on how to ease the mental load of this complicated chronic disease for one’s diabetic child.

Jackson will be learning alongside peers who understand what he goes through every day while I get to attend seminars for parents and learn some more skills on how to help Jack live a safe and beautiful life while making hundreds of medical decisions to stay alive all day, every day.

This is an incredible opportunity, and we are thrilled and so hopeful to make some Friends for Life along the way!

While our little family of two has been saving up airline miles, pinching pennies, and stretching dollars, we are still significantly short on the funds for food, travel, and to allow “Zeus the Moose” to have the experience he deserves on this incredible trip and enjoy some awesome side quests with his peer group both during and after the main convention days.

If you find yourself wanting to help an absolute gem of a kid have the trip of a lifetime and be part of Jackson getting to connect with hundreds of other kids his age while they learn more about thriving and living their very best life with type 1 diabetes, please know that your generosity fills our hearts with an abundance of gratitude!

Rest assured that any funds that are potentially “extra” will go towards the ever-increasing cost of medical care for the sweetest dude around or will be used to assist any other families who may be struggling to afford insulin.

If you want some bang for your buck reach out to book me and Jack for any kind of odd jobs we can do to help raise funds- weeding flower beds, babysitting, car washing, dog walking, house cleaning- if we have the skills to do it we will come earn this trip for Jackson "Zeus the Moose!"
