At 13 weeks pregnant Jessie and Alex learned Jackson's heart had not fully developed the way it should have. It was shortly after confirmed Jackson has a congenital heart defect called HLHS (Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome).

With this diagnosis Jackson will undergo a series of cardiac surgeries before his 2nd birthday. The first being quickly after he is born.

While the news came as a shock, Jessie and Alex whole heartedly believe with love, support and their medical team, Jackson will be happy, healthy and thrive.

Due to upcoming medical bills and missed work the family has decided to start this GoFundMe to try and alleviate some of the added stresses during this time.
