Hi everyone! I am raising funds to support my son, Jackson, as he pursues his lifelong dream of studying fashion design.

From the moment Jackson taught himself to crochet and sew as a young child, fashion has been his language. What started as an early love for creating has grown into a deep commitment to the art of design, construction, fabric, and storytelling.

Now a high school student (Class of 2028) Jackson is fully dedicated to his dream: studying fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City.

Creating has never been just a hobby for Jackson, it is how he expresses his imagination and makes sense of the world. Long before he even owned a sewing machine, he was finding ways to bring his ideas to life. Since then, he has turned sketches into original garments, launched his own online store, shared and promoted his designs through social media, and expanded his skills through summer design programs through the VMFA. Jackson is currently enrolled in several dual-enrollment courses, Creating his portfolio, and doing all the hard work to build his future, and I am launching this fundraiser to help him take the next step. We are raising funds to cover essential college expenses that aid and loans do not fully meet. Your donations will directly support: Tuition gaps and fees, Design materials, fabrics, and textbooks, Room, board, and necessary travel expenses.
