Hi, my name is Jade and I am starting this GoFundMe for my little brother Jackson.

Over the past 5 years or so we have watched Jackson deal with some very hard things. Jackson has had very intense, chronic pain that has stopped him from enjoying a normal teenage lifestyle. We have met with many doctors and specialists. Some were genuinely concerned and some just told us he'd grow out of it someday (maybe). We knew there was something they were missing. We've prayed, fasted, and researched to find ways to help him. We are so grateful to say we finally have answers. Jackson is dealing with a rare condition called MALS. He will be having surgery soon to fix things and then throughout recovery, we will watch how things heal and pray it will be a lifelong fix.

Median arcuate ligament syndrome (MALS) is a rare condition that occurs when the median arcuate ligament (MAL) compresses the celiac artery (that supplies blood to the upper abdomen), causing abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting.

Jackson has missed out on so much because of this condition. He has spent the past 5 years or so in bed, most days in agony. We are blessed to have our prayers for him answered. We have felt everyone's prayers and know they will help Jackson continue this path.

We have come to the point that we must ask our friends, families, and community for support. Jackson's medical bills are going to be overwhelming throughout the time of his surgery and his recovery. He will have this major surgery, follow-up appointments, followed by physical therapy to help him return to a normal level of activity for someone his age. Please if you can donate we appreciate it more than you will ever know. Everything will be put towards Jack's medical expenses. Please continue to pray for continued healing for Jackson.
