Hello, I appreciate everyone who reads this! I am finishing my 7th grade year with High School (and their applications!) right around the corner, and I have been nominated by Mr. Haddad, the Head of School at Valley School, for an exclusive opportunity to attend the Envision Veterinary Academy in Washington DC this summer from 07/06-07/12. The donations made to this fundraiser will go directly to the program cost and my flight there. Let me tell you what this opportunity means to me and why it will help me with my biggest goals for the future.

The Veterinary Academy I want to go to will give me hands-on work with both pet animals and zoo animals, how to help with injuries, and how to care for each one properly, including the difficult parts of this job. This camp would be so amazing for me. It would give me true hands-on experiences with these animals. I would learn real facts about them and how to work with them from professionals. It would be an incredible experience, and of course, it would be really fun. But, not only would it be amazing in the present, but it would give me a real idea of what being a vet will actually be like, help me on my high school and college applications, and help get me into a great vet school like U.C. Davis in future.

I’ve loved animals for as long as I’ve known and it sounds like a dream come true to be able to help them in such a way. I always hate seeing animals hurt, sick, or trying to deal with some sort of disability and I would love to be able to help them get through these things. This Veterinary Academy would be the first step in my journey to become a vet. But, I need help with the tuition and travel expenses to get there. I would be so grateful for anyone who helps me achieve this dream.
