Now facing months of chemotherapy, he’s unable to work, and his girlfriend, Katrina, has taken significant unpaid leave to care for him. The financial strain is overwhelming, with mounting medical bills and the added challenge of maintaining both a mortgage and rent as they honor their Catholic faith by living separately before marriage.
