Hello Friends and Family,

Our beautiful son and brother Jack was boating with friends yesterday when his 10 foot fishing boat was struck by a 30ft speed boat. The boat was going approximately 35 MPH. The driver of that boat left the seen but eventually came back. He refused a breath test and was taken in for watercraft assault. Currently,

Jack is in surgery to have a rod inserted into his femur. He has open fractures of the scapula and elbow as well as a lung puncture. He will need to have several surgeries and it will be months and months of recovery. We are truly blessed that Jack is still alive. A couple of more inches and his head would have taken the hit. Jack does not swim very well but managed to tread with his serious injuries until another boater got to him before he went under. Any of you that know my son know that he an amazing young man. He loves the outdoors, skate boarding, his brothers and his job. Jack will not be able to return to work in the foreseeable future. This will be a huge burden on him especially as he tries to recover. We would appreciate any contribution to his medical fund. Thank you for considering.
