One of my favorite things about coming home from tour has always been walking through that front door and seeing my best friend Jack. He's waited for me and greeted me with excited squeaks, hugs, and butt wags for going on 14 years. When I came home on June 8th I immediately knew something was wrong when I saw him. He just looked different. I could feel something had shifted in his energy. After trying to be positive and hoping for the best, after a few more hours with him and a few concerning signs later, we decided to take him to the emergency vet. After a long day and night and many tests later, it was found that Jack has a growing mass on his spleen and possibly hemangiosarcoma. It was decided that the only course of action was immediate surgery to remove his spleen and the mass together. Not only has this been emotionally devastating for our family, it has also caused a gigantic financial toll as well. As long as I can remember it's been hard for me to ask for help for anything but I'd do anything for him. If you have it in your heart to help us, even a penny, would mean the absolute world. He is my world. Thank you so much.
