Help Larry “Jack” Miranda Fight Lymphoma and Support His Family
Hi everyone, this is Lareve!
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for our dad, Larry “Jack” Miranda, who has been diagnosed with advanced lymphoma. This news has completely changed our family’s world. My dad has always been the one people could count on — a hardworking, humble, and caring man who would give the shirt off his back to help someone else. Now, he’s the one who needs our help.
He is in a lot of pain. The lump is big and he's been put on medical disability. Surgery is not possible due to many lymph nodes in that area. We will soon find out his treatment plan. The journey ahead is tough in every way. We are also in the process of applying for the appropriate benefits, but as many know, that process takes time.
Our mom, Evelyn, has been by his side every step of the way, caring for him full-time and doing everything she can to keep things together. Meanwhile, she's a breast cancer survivor who underwent a mastectomy only 2 years ago. My dad pushed his retirement to keep her under his benefits. He was looking forward to retiring next year, finally. Sadly, this hit before that could happen. They both stay strong and hopeful, but this battle is taking a heavy toll.
Your donation — no matter the amount — will go directly toward medical expenses, medications, travel to appointments, and everyday living costs while my dad focuses on his fight. Even if you can’t donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser to help us reach more people who might be able to help.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support for Jack & Evelyn. Every bit of help means the world to our family.
