My name is Jackie, and I’m reaching out because I’m about to undergo a colectomy. This is a major surgery, and while I’m hopeful for a smooth recovery, the reality is that my medical bills are quickly adding up. On top of that, I’ll need to take time off work to heal, which means I’ll be without my regular income for a while.

The financial strain is overwhelming. I’m doing my best to stay positive, but between the cost of the surgery, ongoing recovery expenses, and everyday bills, it’s a lot to manage. I also have to cover transportation to and from appointments, as well as some past medical bills that have piled up along the way.
