Support Jackie’s Recovery from Severe Dog Bite
Donation protected
My Aunt Jackie was doing what she loves most—caring for animals. As an avid dog lover, she took on the task of watching over a friend’s dog. While dog sitting, Aunt Jackie was bitten by the dog. The bite wound measures an astonishing 7 to 9 inches long and penetrates 5 inches deep. The injury included surgery, along with a 3 day hospital stay.
My aunt Jackie is also a loving wife and mother of two teenage boys who look up to her as their rock. With her injury, everyday tasks have become challenges. Simple activities like cooking meals, or even basic self-care are now difficult or impossible for her to manage alone. Her husband John has stepped up tremendously during this time, but there is still a long road to recovery. The pain from the injury is constant, and will take some time to regain strength and mobility in her arm.
The financial implications of this event are overwhelming. She is currently unable to continue work due to the injury. We are reaching out to you—our friends, family, and community—to help us support Jackie during this incredibly challenging time. Your contributions will go directly towards covering medical expenses and any necessary adjustments she may need at home, as she recovers from this traumatic experience.
