My name is Jackie and I am raising funds to support my mom's recovery from her sudden health decline.

In 2022, my mother became permanently disabled and relies on disability to pay for her living expenses. In October, she was hospitalized because she was unable to move her lower extremities or sit up without assistance. Since then she also lost much of the ability to use her hands. She has now been in the hospital and rehab since then, receiving extensive medical care and therapy to regain her strength and mobility.

Rehabilitation is essential for her recovery and gives her the best chance of improving her function. However, the copay for her ongoing rehab is beyond what she can manage on a fixed disability income. These funds will help ensure she can continue receiving the therapy she needs to safely regain mobility and eventually return home.
