Support Jackie's Battle Against Oral Cancer

I've never done this before-- but wouldn't ask if I didn't truly need the help!

The absolute SWEETEST cat I have ever known, my beautiful Jackie cat, was recently diagnosed with squamous cell cancer (oral) and a CT Scan ALONE, is $2,200.00. The CT Scan is a requirement to be considered for radiation. At THIS TIME we are not planning to continue to do surgery because if any cancer cells are left behind, the tumor could quickly become more aggressive. If we have ANY shot in being part of the 10% who make it (and we are going to try EVERYTHING we can to do just that)...then we will need to atleast start with the CT to see exactly what we're dealing with. I'm trying to catch it now before it gets bad...which it could, quickly. Every 4 rounds of radiation is approximately $5,000.00.

The plan is... after we raise enough money to have the CT done, we may or may not decide to do radiation. At that point, I plan on updating everyone, to see if it would be worth raising more for treatment or not, based on the quality of life.

So for starters... I'd be really happy if we could atleast raise $2,200.00. Anything additional is appreciated, as we are also going to be starting her on a chemo medicine called Palladia (oral, she will not lose fur). At worst, be nauseated...so we are starting an anti-nausea med at the same time. If she does not tolerate it we will not continue it. Nothing is set in stone. But our 100% GOAL is to succeed in being part of the 10% who survive oral squamous cell cancer and provide the best quality of life until the end, no matter what.

So, I ask, if you'd be so kind as to help us survive what feels like this nightmare we've been living. Any bit counts, and I appreciate every single cent.

When my first cat passed away and I'd been crying in bed, Jackie came and laid her head right on my cheek and just laid there with me in support. There's no way we're not gonna do everything we can to save her life.
