An update on our dear Jackie.

She is at home and resting comfortably with the care of family and friends. She is responding well to the pacemaker.

Thanks to your incredible support, we've made significant progress!

However, due to higher financial obligations than previously known, we are raising our goal to $15,750 If anyone was considering donating and hasn't, this would be a welcome time. Every dollar counts.

Jackie was recently hospitalized with severe heart issues which resulted in the placement of a pacemaker. Her E.R. doctor said that when he sees a heart rate of 30 beats per minute, it gets him up and out of his chair. We are so grateful for the care she received at the UW Hospital. However, Jackie is now faced with many challenges as she will not be able to work for some time and then only on a very limited basis. Any help that would enable Jackie to meet her medical and home expenses would be greatly appreciated.

Jackie is and has been an inspiration to friends, family, and coworkers for most of her adult life. Working at Community Pharmacy for over 35 years, she finds joy in helping everyone around her live happier and healthier lives. She's poured her life into a career that's centered around making our community a better place. She is a very, very special person and we feel so lucky to have her.
