Support Jackie Jones' Recovery Journey

Hi! I am Diana Lamphier. I am setting up this page to help my friend Jackie Jones. After several days of what Jackie called "the worst headache of her life," she was admitted to the ICU with a brain bleed and had to have emergency brain surgery.

Jackie grew up in Center Point. She is the daughter of Joe and Judy Jones. Joe was the longtime pastor at Center Point First Christian Church. Jackie graduated in 1981 from Center Point High School. After college, she taught high school and middle school in Florida. She moved back home to Iowa several years ago to take care of her aging parents, who have now both passed.

Jackie had been working as a long-term substitute in the metro area. She has health insurance, but the coverage is lacking. Jackie is currently unable to work. In addition to mounting medical bills, she is also without income from subbing! The doctors are not sure she will ever be able to return to the classroom. If this happens, Jackie does plan to file for disability; but this is a long process, and she is in need of immediate funds!
