- This is truly a difficult story to tell, even more so it is difficult to ask for help. We are Jackie and Debbie. We along with so many others need a little help. My wife Debbie is disabled and retired. I, Jackie, the one who needs surgery is a self-employed Spark driver, for Walmart. I have been doing this work for just about 5 years. I have been struggling with injuries for the past two years, and now the pain is no longer bearable, and I need two surgeries. I have torn ligaments in my right pointer finger, which is the first surgery. The second is a torn rotator cuff and bicep tear in my right arm. I have medical insurance, that covers the surgeries, thank God, but the time I need to be out of work is not covered. We have searched high and low for short- or long-term disability insurance, through my job, and elsewhere and I do not qualify. We are fighters and never ask anyone for anything, we are alone, without family, and have nowhere to turn. This is tearing me apart having to ask for help, and I do not want to do it, but we honestly do not have a choice. My wife, Debbie has her own set of issues, and even with that, she has been trying to get a job to help, but to no avail. We are the first ones to offer help when someone needs something. Our door is always open; no questions asked and expect nothing in return. If you can find it in your heart to help us out, that would be great and very much appreciated. If you cannot contribute, thanks for reading our story. If you could, please share it on your social media platforms. Thank you all for reading and hearing our story. Peace out!
