Today I learned that one of my best friends is battling stage 3 breast cancer, and she has a cancerous tumor on her right shoulder, right next to her neck.

Jackie is a single mother, grandmother, and overall a kind, wonderful soul inside and out. Jackie has always worked two jobs to give her kids and grandchildren a better life, even if that meant putting herself on the back burner.

She is currently not able to work due to chemo, doctor visits, and her overall immune system being down.

As we know, with today's economy, times are hard for everyone, even those working multiple jobs. Now imagine getting sick with this horrible disease, being out of work, and not being able to afford medical bills, rent, food, and basic necessities needed to survive.

I am asking you all to please donate anything to help Jackie. She's too proud to ask for help, even when she needs it. She is already stressed dealing with this sickness, and her complex is threatening eviction, as she as struggles to come up with rent. I hope we can all come together as community, to relieve some of the stress and the financial burden and donate any amount, $5, $25, or $50.
