During the early morning hours of October 31st, my brother, Jack Williams, was the victim of a tragic gunshot incident. This resulted in bone and bullet fragments creating a traumatic brain injury and a fractured skull. He spent many days in the Neurological ICU at Holmes Regional before being transferred to a PCU, where he was ultimately released into our care. Both of our parents have experience in critical care (as nurses,) and are now helping Jack to continue to heal in their home.

The road to recovery will be long. Jack still has many more doctor’s visits, rehabilitation treatments, and various other challenges on this path. He will be unable to work and drive during this time.

If you know Jack, you know he is an avid boater, fisherman, golfer, and has a love of all things outdoors. This recovery period will be hard for him in more ways than one; but we are confident he WILL, ultimately, recover.
