On January 10th, the Hinton family's lives were forever changed. Jack Hinton is an 18-year-old senior at Viewmont High School. Jack had just finished playing in a pickleball tournament. As he sat down to eat something, his entire right side suddenly became numb. He couldn't talk and slumped over. His dad, Kevin, quickly drove him to Lakeview Emergency Room, fearing a stroke. The doctors determined that Jack has a cancerous brain tumor called bifocal germinoma.
While this type of tumor is treatable, Jack now faces an intense journey that includes chemotherapy and radiation. The road ahead will be challenging, but with the support of friends, family, community, and a loving Heavenly Father, we hope to help Jack fight and recover from this.
All funds will go directly toward medical expenses in a fund set up for Jack's journey. Thank you for your love, prayers, and generosity during this incredibly difficult time.
