Support Jack and Jenna's Journey

Hi, I'm Jenna, mother to Jack, and avid adventurer! After my husband Matt, Jack's father, died unexpectedly in 2016, I took a short leave from work, and then tried to return to life as we knew it - went back to my job as a midwife, lived in the same apartment where our family had started, and did my best to carry on being of service to growing families. My dad lived nearby and was my main source of childcare, especially for those 2am birth calls when I had to run out of the house at a moment's notice. I’m super grateful for his unconditional support during these past few years.
It was all working out, until my dad was diagnosed with cancer, underwent treatment, and then was diagnosed again, this time with stage four, and decided to refuse treatment. Not only was I concerned about his well-being, but my childcare system and hence, my career, was now feeling unstable.
Then my landlord gave me notice, in the craziest rental market ever.
My carefully maintained empire was crumbling.
I did what I call the "housing hustle" for a few weeks, and realized that maintaining my life in Santa Barbara was going to be a constant hustle, at the expense of my inner peace.
So I pulled the plug on it all.
I made a very hard decision to give notice at my job. I acquired a pickup truck and a pop-up trailer, and am taking Jack on a cross-country adventure, to find our new home.
My dad went to go live with my sister in Georgia, where he can rest and focus on his health. I’m happy to say that he is doing really well!
I'm developing my craft as an energy healer, and will be launching more info about that in the fall. Soon, you can find me as a certified practitioner on aleyadao.com.
This is a campaign of wanting support, not necessarily needing it. If you have to decide between this campaign and someone who is undergoing cancer treatment and struggling to feed their children, then please pick them. If you've already donated to them and have more money to give away - then good for you! And me!
Financial support will contribute to covering the rising cost of fuel, camping costs, food and other daily needs. It will provide stability to create a new home and launch a new business of healing arts. It will allow me more time to share my journey with others, hopefully inspiring you to live in your heart; to be as present to the moment as you can be, breaking free from those societal expectations that rob us of our creativity and joy.

Thank you for supporting peace and creativity! I invite you to consider a contribution here as an investment in your own soul’s growth toward peace as well. Be sure to follow me on Insta for more inspiration!
