Hi! My cousin Lindsay and her husband Bryan have two wonderful kids together, Connor and Jace. On February 25th 2025, Jace was taken to the hospital for stroke-like symptoms. After testing, they found a large, rare brain tumor called Atypical Teratoid/Rabdoid Tumor (ATRT). He's currently being treated at Children's of Pittsburgh, where he had previously gone through 2 cycles of intense chemotherapy and 3 bone marrow transplants. In October 2025, the family had to go to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for 6 weeks where Jace received 28 rounds of radiation. But even so, he has had a tumor recurrence at the original resection site. At this point, he is on maintenance chemotherapy. He will be continually getting scans. Even if by miracle things are clear, he will still have to stay on maintenance treatment because of the aggressive nature of this cancer and the recurrence rate. At this point, he’s been given an 8% survival rate. Everything has been very emotionally taxing and costly! We are asking for any help for bills, travel, and food costs.
