My name is Jac. My dog, Mr. Steve, or better known as Stinky Steve, has to get knee surgery to fix a luxating patella and possible ACL. The total surgery cost is either going to be $6.5k or $8.6k depending on what his ACL looks like as they go in.

I have been saving up and have a little bit over half of the 8k estimate. With how many vet bills and the other x-rays he has had to do, this has cost a lot more than I ever thought it would.

Stevie boy has been walking on three legs for a while now, which isn’t good for him, especially since they said the other knee also has a small tear in it.

The vet does not do payment plans, and CareCredit only offers 6 months to a year of payment plans, which would still be a lot of money each month.

Anything helps. I’m not expecting much, but I am desperate at this point.
