Jabri is a very active and fun loving girl who was diagnosed with DCM cardiomyopathy. She is a 10 year old girl that is the life of the party always making everyone smile and laugh. Tragedy struck this beautiful family of 7 when Jabri started feeling sick on October 18th. After thinking Jabri just had a stomach bug she was taken to the ER. After an MRI they were directed to go straight to Primary childrens hospital. Multiple tests and scans were done and she had her diagnosis of DCM cardiomyopathy. After being admitted and monitored for 3 weeks at PMCH (Primary Children’s Hospital) it was decided to place her on the Heart transplant list. The next morning they got a call that they had a donor and not
even 24 hours later she had a heart transplant. For now Jabri is in the CICU and being watched and monitored closely but there will be a long road to recovery. As you can imagine this has been a huge financial strain on the Thompson family as they just opened their own business this year and also have 4 other children at home.
All donations will go towards any expenses not covered by insurance and also for food, gas and anything else they need as they are driving back and forth to Salt Lake multiple times a week. They are so grateful for these donations and anything helps during this difficult time.
This GoFundMe is being started by Patricia Foster (Great Grandma) and managed by McKenna Surles (Cousin)
