For over 33 years, Snapper's Seafood has been a beloved small family business in the heart of Richmond, California. His family has poured their heart and soul into Snapper's Seafood. Snapper's Seafood known not just for its incredible food but for its community spirit, Snapper's has long been a place where friends, families, and neighbors gather.

Now, Jabari needs our help.

He is currently battling Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer which has taken away his ability to oversee the daily operations of Snapper's Seafood. As a small business owner, his presence is not just valued — it's vital. Without him at the helm, the business built from the ground up is facing uncertain times.

Jabari has always been the one to give — whether it was a meal for someone in need, a first job for a young person in the neighborhood, or a listening ear for anyone who walked through the doors. Now it's our turn to give back.

We are raising funds to support Jabari during his recovery, and to help keep Snapper's Seafood running in his absence. Donations will go toward medical expenses, operational costs, and sustaining the livelihood of a business that means so much to so many.

Due to Jabari's condition, he has very minimal mobility. As Jabari's long-time partner and confidant, at his request, I have taken on the responsibility of overseeing his financial matters. All donations will go directly to the care and needs, such as food, vitamins, medications not covered by insurance and recurring monthly bills such as rent, PG&E, phone, etc.
