Hello, this is James Perry. I am establishing a GoFundMe for my son, Phasawat (Jabari) Perry.

Jabari has been an adventurer all his life. This is his “Gap Year” and he has decided on a 3-month expedition with NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School) in Patagonia (Chile).

Jabari will be sea kayaking, rock climbing, and hiking. The program takes place in remote areas, and he will live tent camping most of the 3 months in Chile. The NOLS programs are internationally known for leadership and wilderness medical training.

It was my intention to teach Jabari the skills he will need to travel in the mountains and on oceans safely. Unfortunately, cancer has limited my options for getting into the wilds. Jabari and I have had some great adventures, and hopefully, we will have many more.

The NOLS training will help prepare Jabari for the life of service and adventure he anticipates.
