Support Izzy's Thesis Film

My name is Izzy Love and I am a senior of Montclair State University’s Film & Television BFA program. Currently, my team and I are gearing up to shoot my thesis film, entitled Last Variation, this coming February and March. And we need your help to make it happen!

Last Variation tells the story of Sam, a high school senior who has her eyes set on the future as a West Coast school offers her a chance to audition for their prestigious ballet program. However, her much-older boyfriend, Ben, seeks to sabotage her shining moment in order to keep her by his side. Sam must choose between love and her own wellbeing as the decision appears narrower and narrower by the day.

This film casts a light on the issue of grooming and sexual abuse. It’s a story I’ve struggled to tell for many years and is perhaps my most personal project yet. My hope is that this story can truly make a difference on those it reaches. If even one person sees this film and decides to reconsider a relationship in their life, the uphill journey will be completely worth it.

In addition to reimbursing travel expenses, the bulk of our crowdfunding campaign will go towards providing meals for cast and crew. We are also looking at a festival run once the film is completed. And any additional or unused funds will be put towards entry fees.
