Support Izzy's Eye Surgery and Recovery

Izzy started developing this cyst on her eye a little over a year ago. Initially the vet just thought we should leave it alone as it was likely benign and didn’t seem to bother her. In recent months it has grown tremendously and become very irritating and has started bleeding. We took her back to her regular vet last week and they referred us to an eye specialist. (Veterinary Ophthalmologist Services VOS.) She had her exam today and was such a good girl! Unfortunately, it has to be surgically removed asap and because it takes up over half of her eyelid it will require some reconstruction of her eyelid. Her actual eye is fine and we don’t want her to lose that! The other concern is that the cyst may actually be malignant and will have to be sent off to confirm. This concern comes because she has another cyst that has appeared on her mouth and one on her neck. That could be nothing, or it could mean this has spread.

This precious little soul has been through it in her lifetime. We can’t let this go untreated any longer. The surgeon actually had an opening tomorrow so I’m taking a leap of faith that the funds will come I have scheduled it for 8:00am. If you can donate towards her care we would be forever grateful.
