`To make a long story short, Izzy tore her CCL (the equivalent of an ACL) last week and is not a candidate for surgery due to her health issues. I’ve been doing some research and found out I can order a custom brace for her through Bionic Pets (If you’ve ever seen the show Wizard of Paws, this is Derrick’s company). I contacted them and after watching videos of Izzy walking and seeing photos, they agree a brace would be best. Her front paw has begun to turn inward and the sooner I can order the custom brace, the sooner we can can correct that front paw and prevent further damage.

The only problem is it’s $745 which is a lot of money for my family, especially with medical bills piling up. If anyone has even $1 or $2 that they can spare, I’d greatly appreciate it! Izzy has gone from loving to walk around and play to just laying around and being depressed. If I could give her just a little bit of comfort, it would mean the world to both her and I!

Here is the explanation of why a brace would be best. Izzy has a complete tear (basically if her CCL was a rubber band, it has snapped). Since this is the case, the brace will be a lifelong benefit rather than only being used for 6-9 months.
