Lily was diagnosed with Cushing's Disease on May, 2024. Then July this year with Oronasal Fistula and Pituitary Macroadenoma which is a tumor that grows in the pituitary gland. I took Lily to UC Davis Veterinary School last month for a SRT treatment which is a highly precise form of radiation therapy that delivers high doses of radiation for 5 days. She is currently recovering but is due to continue with follow ups and continued chemotherapy boosters and CT Scans. Lily's medical bills so far are $24,000 and counting.
Isabella (Izzy) and Lily are my 2 girls who both have been battling their own medical issues since December, 2022. Izzy with a Mast Cell, then Oral Malignant Melanoma. Then in April, 2025 one of her 2 cancers returned in her lungs. Izzy passed peacefully in her sleep a few weeks later (April 24, 2025) just 11 days shy of her 16th birthday. Izzy was my world and I'm missing her deeply. Her Vet bills totaled over $70,000 which I'm still paying.
Care Credit will no longer offer me extended credit. I've max'd out my mortgage HELOC loan and I have been using my own Credit Cards which higher interest rates are putting me into more debt making it difficult even making minimum payments. I'm hoping to lesson this debt as much as I can. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
