The driver, who reportedly has a history of drunk driving and criminal offenses, caused unimaginable devastation in a matter of seconds.

The impact was catastrophic. Izabella was dragged underneath the vehicle for more than half a block before the driver finally stopped. Videos of the incident have circulated on social media, but as her parents, we have chosen not to watch them. The pain of seeing our daughter fighting for her life is already more than we can bear.
