My name is Iyannah Smith, on June 6th my life changed tremendously. My life was changed due to careless gun violence. As I was trying to shield myself from the gunfire, it resulted in bullet fragments being lodged into my eye that were 3 inches from my brain. This lead to my eye having to be removed leaving me blind in one eye. I won’t be able to work, drive, or be able to live a normal lifestyle for a long time. I would greatly appreciate any assistance with hospital bills, food, and therapy.
