My name is Ìyá Iji. I am a wombman walking the long road of remembrance—remembering who I am, where I come from, and what I’m here to do. I am currently living in a homeless shelter, but my vision stretches far beyond these walls. I am not just seeking housing—I am seeking liberation.

I come from a lineage of resilient women and nomadic spirits, deeply rooted in ancestral wisdom, Earth reverence, and creativity as medicine. I carry the songs of those who walked before me—who lived close to the land, moved with intention, and created beauty out of nothing. I feel their call in my bones, telling me it’s time to return to that way.

I’m asking for your support to help me transition from shelter living into a sacred nomadic lifestyle—a way of life that allows me to be self-sufficient, spiritually aligned, and creatively free.

This lifestyle is not a trend for me—it is a birthright. It is a return to rhythm, to nature, to ancestral remembrance.

• Acquire a safe, reliable van or vehicle to live and travel in along with tent ⛺️

• Equip it with essentials for basic comfort and wellness (bedding, solar power, storage, etc.)

• Cover registration, insurance, and legal costs to get on the road safely

• Rebuild my creative toolkit so I can share art, stories, and healing with others along my journey

Sustain myself as I offer healing, writing, and birthwork services rooted in cultural tradition

This isn’t just about mobility—it’s about mobility with purpose. I envision holding space for others as I travel, building connections rooted in truth, land, and ancestral guidance. I see myself writing again, creating again, and helping others birth not only children—but their own paths, visions, and healing.

As Ìyá, a spiritual mother, I know that community is sacred. I’ve given to many even when I had little. Now I humbly ask for the energy to be returned, so I can rise and walk in my full power once again. I have virtual offerings available to those who support this pathway of mine!
