Our good friend and employee at Mott Farms, Ivy Hebert, suffered a heart attack while driving and lost control of his vehicle earlier this week. He suffered multiple life-threatening injuries. They were planning to transfer him yesterday to Baylor in Dallas by helicopter for a necessary procedure to give him a fighting chance for survival when weather prevented the transport to occur. He took a turn for the worse last evening and passed away with family by his side at 10:40pm.

We are asking our friends, colleagues and others who knew Ivy to please donate to help his wife Laurie and his son Lance cover costs for his cremation and services, any medical costs not covered by insurance, and any bills that need they need to cover while they adjust to this tragic loss. The last thing Ivy would want is to burden his family. We are starting this fundraiser so they can grieve properly without the worry they are feeling presently. We hope this will help ease their troubles and provide some reassurance that they will get through this with the love and support of others:)
