Help Ivy Get the Medical Care She Deserves
Hello, my name is Barbara, and I’m the proud mother of a brave 14-year-old girl named Ivy. Our lives were turned upside down when Ivy was diagnosed with an astrocytoma tumor on her spinal cord — a rare and difficult diagnosis for any child to face.
Ivy’s condition requires ongoing monitoring and specialized care. We’ve been traveling to a hospital in Philadelphia for regular testing and treatment. In addition to those visits, Ivy is also undergoing physical and occupational therapies from both the tumor and the biopsy she had in April. Each visit brings emotional and physical strain — but also financial pressure that’s becoming too heavy to carry alone.
Tragically, Ivy’s dad — my husband — passed away suddenly two years ago. Since then, we’ve had to move in with family just to stay afloat. Now, with medical travel, gas, meals, and basic needs stacking up, we need help.
How Your Support Helps:
Travel to Philadelphia for Ivy’s appointments and testing
Gas, tolls, and car maintenance for long drives
Meals and basic expenses while away from home
Future chemotherapy or treatment expenses if the tumor grows
We are hoping to raise $2000 to cover these essential costs and give Ivy the care she needs — and deserves.
If you can donate, please know that every dollar makes a difference. If you can’t give, please consider sharing this page. Your support means more than words can say.
With all my heart,
Barbara
