Support Iven Chapman's Kidney Transplant Journey

A local youth coach who has been a mentor to many NC youth is now in need of help.

Iven Chapman, a local coach, is in a battle... this time it's life-threatening. He's in need of a kidney transplant. He will undergo surgery at Duke Medical Center when cleared. He is currently on dialysis as his kidney function is diminishing.

Iven needs funds to help offset the cost of the operation and living expenses during his time of recovery.

Iven has served the community for more than 50 years. He coached at all levels: YMCA, AAU, Cardinal Gibbons High School, Our Lady of Lourdes Middle School, Word of God Christian Academy, and Mount Zion Academy.

Iven has coached many young men who have excelled in the game and life. Jerry stackhouse ,lovelle moton, Travis spivey, tracy McGrady and others.
