Support IVCMS Color Guard's Journey
Donation protected
Our girls have chosen to be a part of the Itliong Vera-Cruz Middle School Color Guard team, one of the school’s most awarded after-school programs. The team competes annually in the California Color Guard Circuit (CCGC) - and has been highly ranked consistently.
Most recently, in April 2024, IVCMS Color Guard won FIRST PLACE in the CCGC Championships in the middle school division. Commitment. Hard work. Fun. Sportsmanship. Camaraderie. Self- expression. Athleticism.
Color guard is known as the “sport of the arts”
because it requires both physical and artistic skills, as well as coordination, stamina and creativity. Students who join the group get an early head start in being trained for high school band & guard, should they decide to join the prestigious James Logan Band & Color Guard Ensemble.
Along with their other school activities, Chloe plays trumpet in Symphonic Band and Haley a first year middle schooler is in Beginning Choir. We are excited for this new journey they are participating together.
Due to cutbacks in state education funding, exemplary extra-curricular activities like the IVCMS Color Guard Program continue to find itself in great financial need. In order for the program to be successful and compete in the California Color Guard Circuit, any contribution is greatly appreciated to help support this program keep moving forward.
We thank you for your continued support of our girls and look forward to sharing their journey for this new season.
