Support Ivan’s Recovery and Healing

Ivan was in a motorcycle accident where he suffered a broken leg and broken jaw and a few other injuries they are monitoring. He underwent reconstructive surgery for his jaw and face while his leg will be splinted until healed.

Ivan puts his heart and soul into running the day-to-day operations at Love Coffee Bar in Santa Monica. He is a deeply caring and dependable leader, as well as husband, and friend to so many.

He doesn’t hesitate to lend a helping hand whenever he can. Now, he needs our help! He will require a lot of time off work to heal from his injuries and procedure, but will fully recover.

A new “normal” day-to-day is being set for Ivan and myself (his wife). We have numerous follow up doctor’s visits to schedule and attend, medical coverage applications to send (we are currently uninsured), and legal counsel to seek.

During this phase, I’m going to need to step up my game as a wife. I am already learning new depths of how to care for and love him.

I don’t know how we will manage everything yet, but I do know we won’t have to figure it out all alone! We anticipate lots of shuffling of paperwork, long waits to be seen, but thankfully we are beyond the most difficult and scary part of this all.

And thankfully, Ivan and I are resilient and strong - most especially with the love and support flowing our way from our community!
