Support Ivan's Fight Against Wilms Tumor (Kidney Cancer)
Donation protected

Ivan is the sweetest boy who has faced so many medical challenges since in utero. Since birth, he has been diagnosed, monitored, and treated for chronic low Lymphocytes- this makes him very vulnerable to infections and brain abnormalities (cysts, enlarged ventricles, matter changes, bleeding, hydrocephalus). At approximately 6 months, Ivan was diagnosed with epilepsy and has focal impaired awareness seizures and takes multiple medications. He is followed by a neurologist, neurosurgery, infectious disease (immune problem), and general pediatrics. Due to these medical issues, he has developmental delay and is involved in physical, occupational, and other future therapies.
Then, starting July 14, 2024, he was worked up for a renal mass they found. That consisted of blood work, respiratory swab, X-Ray, and an ultrasound. On Monday a CT scan, on Wednesday July 17, the news no parent ever wants to hear. Their boy, at 21 months, has cancer. Ivan received a cancer diagnosis: Stage 3 Wilms Tumor.
Wilms Tumor
Wilms tumor is a rare kidney cancer that mainly affects children. Also known as nephroblastoma, it's the most common cancer of the kidneys in children.
Baby Ivan has already undergone surgery for a biopsy and port placement. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy.
Now, we humbly ask for help. Any donation will be greatly appreciated as it'll go to Laura and Andrew for medical expenses, lost wages, daily travel and more. If a donation is not possible a prayer and a share will be of great help.
