Ivanna is one of my best friends, and she’s only 27 years old. She lives in San Bruno with her husband Cameron, and is originally from Chihuahua, Mexico. We’ve been friends for a long time, and seeing her go through this has been incredibly hard. Ivanna was diagnosed with cancer while she and Cameron were trying to start a family. The news was devastating, and her world changed overnight.

Her only support here in the US is her husband, as her family lives in Mexico. Medical bills in the US are incredibly high, and Cameron has had to take time off work to be by her side. On top of that, Ivanna’s mom and sister are traveling back and forth between San Francisco and Mexico to spend time with her, which is a huge financial burden.

We are raising funds to help cover Ivanna’s medical expenses, help pay for her family’s travel so they can be with her, and provide her with comfort and support during this difficult time. It’s hard to be vulnerable and ask for help, but even when life is tough, we see the good in others. Any help you can give to our beloved friend will go a long way, and we appreciate it more than words can say.
