It is with profound love and admiration that we celebrate the life of Ivana Rúbia Henn, a devoted wife, mother, accomplished athlete, pioneering entrepreneur, and compassionate soul who touched countless lives.

Ivana passed away at the age of 50 after a courageous battle with peritoneal cancer, leaving behind her loving husband Pyter Bruno, and their two beloved children: Hannah (18) and Pyter Bruno (15).

Born in Blumenau, Santa Catarina, Ivana began her journey in athletics at the age of 13, specializing in race walking. Her dedication and talent led her to represent Brazil in numerous international competitions, including the World Athletics U20 Championships in Canada (1988), the World Race Walking Cups in Spain (1989), the United States (1991), and Mexico (1993). She was a multiple-time national and South American record holder, earning 19 gold medals in Brazilian championships.

After her athletic career, Ivana became one of the pioneers of Pilates in Brazil. She helped introduce and expand the practice across the country, developing her own methodology focused on performance, injury prevention, and recovery. As a business owner and wellness professional, she empowered countless clients and inspired a new generation of health practitioners with her expertise and care.

Above all, Ivana’s legacy is one of resilience, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family and community. Her strength, warmth, and generous spirit continue to inspire all who knew her.
