If you know Ivan Walstrom, you know what it means to be cared for. Ivan has spent his life building, fixing, and brightening the lives of everyone around him—as a talented contractor, devoted maintenance man at Good Sam, and loyal friend to so many and all of his family.

Now, Ivan is facing his biggest challenge yet. Recently diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. Instead of focusing on his health and time with loved ones, Ivan is now facing mounting, unexpected medical expenses—made even worse by ongoing insurance issues that are delaying coverage and forcing him to pay out of pocket.

Anyone who knows Ivan knows he has always given more than he has ever asked for in return. He’s the first to lend a hand, fix a roof, or brighten a room with his kindness and humor. He’s touched countless lives in our nursing home till the day he retired as well as in our community, and beyond.

Now it’s our turn to help Ivan.
