If you've ever had the privilege of knowing IV Wolfe, you know that he's the kind of person who shows up when people need him. Whether it's supporting his church family in Lake Placid, helping with community events, fundraising for the Lake Placid High School Marching Band to support his son, or simply lending a hand to a friend in need, IV has always been willing to give his time, energy, and heart to others.
Recently, IV suffered a heart attack and is currently hospitalized. While we are incredibly thankful that he is receiving the care he needs, his recovery journey will be a long one. Doctors have advised that he will be unable to return to work for the foreseeable future, creating a significant financial burden for his family.
At home, IV's wife is now carrying the weight of supporting their family on a single income while caring for their three children and two beloved dogs.
As medical bills begin to accumulate and everyday expenses continue, the stress of recovery extends far beyond the hospital room.
Anyone who knows IV knows that asking for help is not something he would ever do for himself. He has spent years serving others, supporting his community, and putting family first. Now it's our turn to show up for him.
We are asking for donations of any amount to help ease the financial strain during this difficult time. Funds will go toward household expenses, medical costs, groceries, transportation, and helping keep the family's day-to-day life as stable as possible while IV focuses on healing.
If you're unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping IV and his family in your prayers.
Thank you for helping us support a truly good man, devoted husband, loving father, faithful church member, and valued member of the Lake Placid community.
Let's rally around the Wolfe family and remind them they are not facing this challenge alone.
