In celebration of Itzel reaching one of the biggest milestones of her life—graduating high school—she has been given the incredible opportunity to travel abroad with her art class. Only a select few students are chosen for this honor, and Itzel was selected because of her resilience and determination throughout her four years at American Canyon High School.

Despite facing many difficult and dark moments, Itzel never gave up. She always found her way back to the light, showing strength, perseverance, and heart beyond her years. This experience will allow her to immerse herself in new cultures, expand her artistic vision, and see parts of the world she has only dreamed of.
