A Call to Action

As many of you know, Hurricane Melissa has taken a toll on the people of Jamaica - particularly those on the western side of the island. The Issa Trust Foundation and Bartolazzi Homes have partnered to rebuild homes and bring much-needed light and hope to these wonderful communities.

The goal is to return to Jamaica with a crew of 5-10 dedicated volunteers who are physically able to help rebuild homes from the ground up- repairing walls, roofs, and any structural damage caused by the hurricane. The plan is to return early December and rebuild at least five homes during that time. If additional funds become available to cover flights and if we have the manpower for a second or even a third trip, that would be incredible. More rebuilding can occur and more families will have a dry, safe, and warm place to rest their heads. We cannot do this alone, though.

How You Can Help

This fundraiser has been created for those who wish to contribute financially toward the flight expenses for volunteers traveling from Green Bay/Appleton International Airport to Montego Bay International Airport. Flights are currently averaging between $500–$600 per ticket. Your contributions will directly support:

• Transportation Costs (first and foremost): Help cover airfare for volunteers who are ready to donate their time and labor.

• Building Materials: Provide essential supplies such as lumber, nails, and roofing materials.

• Community Supplies: Support the purchase of necessary tools and equipment for the rebuilding process.

Accommodations & Meals Provided

All volunteers will receive round-trip airport transfers, hotel accommodations at one of the Couples Adult-Only Resorts, meals (including breakfast, lunch, and dinner), drinks, and full access to resort amenities at no cost.
