In August 2024, Israel and his family’s lives were turned upside down. Israel was diagnosed with Stage 3 (almost Stage 4) pancreatic cancer and given a 23% survival rate.

Although Israel’s first chemotherapy session started almost immediately, he has not had another due to every obstacle imaginable: insurance coverage issues, gallbladder surgery, infection after infection, and severe weight loss.

As Israel fights for his life, he is surrounded by the most loving support system: who at the foundation is his wife, Griselda, and their precious boys, Axel (19), Michael (15), and Logan (11).

Israel is the sole financial provider for his family of five, and the patriarch of his extended family.

All funds collected will go towards the family’s living expenses as they navigate losing the financial support of Israel’s income. Any support, no matter how small, is sincerely appreciated as we come together to lift up this family during their darkest days.
