Israel Torres, 21, of Cumby lost his battle with cancer over the weekend. Israel was a 2022 graduate of Cumby High School and a 2024 graduate of Paris Junior College with his certification in HVAC. Even through multiple treatments and surgeries over the last few years, Israel was steadfast in his pursuit of his dreams, his unwavering faith in his Lord and Savior, and his commitment to his family. His treatment and keeping him comfortable have put a financial strain on his family. We can't do anything to ease the burden on the hearts of his family but we are asking our community to help them lay him to rest.
