Support Israel Garcia's Recovery Journey

Hello, my name is Lucy and I have set up this online fundraiser on behalf of Mrs. Miriam Guzman and her family.

Mrs. Guzman has a 27-year-old son who was in a terrible car accident on I-355 near Lombard on the 25th of February.

Her son, Israel Garcia, suffers from epilepsy. On that day, it is suspected he suffered an epileptic episode that resulted in the car crashing and bursting into flames.

Israel suffered significant burns to his arms, legs and face. He is currently in intensive care unit at Loyola Medical Center.

For the family, this is an extremely difficult situation, especially because Israel is the father of a 7-year-old girl.

Since Israel is unable to work, the family could really use some help to cover the costs of the hospital treatments, the care for his child and rent.

Mrs. Guzman is eternally grateful for your support. While she does work in a school cafeteria in the Northwest suburbs, this accident has presented numerous financial challenges for her and for her son.

La senora Guzman tiene un hijo de 27 años quien sufrió un terrible accidente de tránsito el 25 de Febrero en la I355 cerca de Lombard, IL.

Su hijo, Israel Garcia, sufre de ataques epilépticos y se especula que el dia del accidente, el tuvo uno de esos episodios y su camioneta chocó y se prendió en llamas.

Israel se encuentra en la unidad de cuidados intensivos del Centro medico Loyola con quemaduras en sus manos, piernas y su cara también.

Para la familia esta situación ha sido muy dificil, especialmente porque Israel tiene una niña de 7 años.

Actualmente necesitan de mucha ayuda monetaria tanto para su tratamiento como para la familia y el cuidado de la niña.

La senora Miriam agradece todo su apoyo en estos momentos. Ella trabaja come empleada en una cafeteria de una escuela en los suburbios al noroeste de Chicago. Sin embargo, este accidente ha presentado muchos retos economicos para ella y para su hijo.
