Hi my name is Shelly Chavez and I’m creating a gofundme account on behalf of my brother-in-law Israel Chavez and his two boys, Zack and Jacob. On August 5th, our beloved Kami was in a fatal plane crash while at work. While Israel has plenty of family support, it is unclear what the future looks like for him and my nephews and the last thing we want is for him to have to worry about money. He deserves to have as much time as he needs to grieve and be close to his boys. With that said, it will take time before he is able to go back to work. While prayer is what we ultimately need, financial help will ease the burden of this loss. We are grateful for everyone who has reached out and for all those who are praying fervently for us. Please don’t stop.

Our hearts are shattered, but we are comforted knowing our sweet Kami loves the Lord and is no doubt home with him now. She spent her last moments of her time here on earth living out her dream and for that I am so grateful.
